Sweet Mango Sauce
Add a tropical twist to your next dessert with our Sweet Mango Sauce.
Things you'll need
Wood or metal stirring spoon (remember you shouldn't use metal utensils with non-stick cookware)
Rubber spatula, very handy for scraping sticky sauces out of pots and blenders!
Blender or Food Processor
Glass jar, squeeze bottle (for decorating), or other storage container
2 ripe mangos, peeled, pitted and cut into pieces (You can also use frozen mangos)
3 tablespoon confectioners' sugar (10x works best)
1-2 tablespoons dark rum or liquor of your choosing (optional)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Wash, rinse, and dice mangos in to large pieces.
- Add mangos to blender and blend until smooth.
- Add Sugar and blend until incorporated.
- Add flavorings.
- Pour into airtight container for storage. Keep refrigerated.
